Recently UK’s soul import Daley put together an extensive slow jam playlist on his iTunes which he then took a screenshot of and published on Twitter and his Facebook page. A lot of his fans liked, shared and commented on this post, favoring and dismissing Daley’s choices but also suggesting their own favorites.
Clearly Daley knows a thing or two about R&B (especially his own and the 90s kind!), so the feedback remained mainly positive. If you’ve been to one of his concerts, you already know he has an acquired taste in music and loves performing really nice medleys, representing the good stuff.
Well, since NYCROPHONE is all about playlists, we decided to take his iTunes list and create the YouTube equivalent for your listening AND viewing pleasure. We were able to find almost ALL of his choices except maybe 1 or 2 songs. The playlists consists out of 79 tracks, combining to a total of 6 hours of music including some real gems by Jill Scott, Mariah Carey, Brandy, Usher, Monica, etc.
ENJOY and feel free to share and let us know what some of YOUR choices would have been!
By the way, we are scheduled to interview Daley on November 19th, when he is NY for his concert at the Highline Ballroom. Would you like us to ask him anything specifically? Here is an older feature on Daley we posted a couple of years ago.
